During our Annual General Meeting, the Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Dr. Stefan Buontempo stated that the Government’s priority plan for regional committees is to become the first reference point of local councils.
Dr. Buontempo praised our Regional Committee in assisting our 14 local communities with the introduction of different schemes.
Dr Buontempo described the financial position of councils in our region as being strong and their financial year ended with a positive balance.
