The official logo of the Southern Region of Culture 2023 is inspired by the sun and the incorporation of the clock reflecting our past and by uniting people. It is composed of 12 individuals that represent the 12 Local Councils which form a unified context of the Southern Regional Council.
This inspiration is furthermore enhanced by footsteps in a continual circular motion and by the infinity of life as potentially inspired by the mystery of the spirals that have come down to us in stone. All this is combined with a Mediterranian sunset and pastel colours portraying diversity and inclusion.
